Hair loss affects approximately 85% of men and 60% of women at some point in their lives, only in American, there are over 80 million American men and women are suffering from hair loss. Every person will lose more than 40% of hair in a life time, thus about a 100 hairs loss a day is considered normal, and any amount of hair over that might mean excessive hair loss.

 

There are many factors contribute to hair loss, like stress, diseases, hormonal imbalance, improper hair care, poor diet, hereditary and use of certain medicines such as antidepressants and birth control pills.

 

1) STRESS - Stress might be caused by excessive work, a job with irregular hours, anxiety and pressure from a hectic lifestyle, family problems or major illness or surgeries. For women it could be mental stress as a result of pregnancy, childbirth or menopause.
